Buckhorn Place

A full Reno down to the foundation with the addition of 3k sq ft. With a lot that great sight lines we stared the planking process to make sure we take advantage of the full views of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains from all rooms in the house. The finish plan entailed 6 beds with 8 baths and a 2bdrm suite.

An extra addition was added with a container pool and hot tub to add to the project. Permits were backlogged and slowed down the development process and the winter weather came early, but we luckily got water tight before the snow came.

Our first heated driveway in Whistler proved to be successful, but came with a tough decision for the final surface; pavers, concrete, or asphalt. Concrete won out, based on durability.

At the best, we completed over 5500 sq ft of luxury that will not be able to replace.

Challenge: Designing within the existing footings to maximize the views from the east facing windows.

Success: Beautiful views, excellent usage of floor space, giving a nice open living space feel.
