Transforming a modern farmhouse within city limits posed unique challenges, notably navigating floodplain regulations. Creativity drove the design process, preserving and expanding square footage instead of opting for a smaller rebuild. The result? A luxurious space boasting a sleek black kitchen, marble countertops flowing seamlessly into the backsplash, and elegant herringbone hardwood floors. The open-concept layout extends to the master bedroom and bath, emphasizing a harmonious blend of contemporary style and functional comfort, ultimately redefining urban living with a touch of rural charm.

Challenges: included navigating the permit process and constructing on a small lot amidst larger ones, presenting significant hurdles.

Success: came with securing final approval, integrating a pool, and creatively adding a third level to compensate for the absence of a basement, overcoming obstacles to achieve the desired outcome.
